Job Description
coastal central Florida - Locum CRNA -
- Ongoing - FT
- 8 or 10 hour shifts – weekly guarantee of 40 hours
- 4-MD /7-CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (busiest days)
- Cases include: Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Peds (healthy), Endo (trying to grow Endo service), Urology, Outpatient,
- No hearts or thoracic
- CRNA Call:
- 1:6 weekend (Saturday & Sunday) call from home – MD also on call with CRNA
- CRNAs rotate 1:6 on a 3-11 M-F shift
- Fast pace, quick turnover
- CRNAs do spinals; limited epidurals and regional blocks
- The anesthesia record is paper, however, orders and patient information is on a Meditech EMR.
